The Haier 14,000 BTU dual-hose portable air conditioner with 10,000 BTU heat mode keeps you cool when it is hot and warm when it is chilly so you are always comfortable.

Designed for a room up to 500 sq. ft., it has 4 modes: Cool for cooling the air, Heat for heating the air, Fan to circulate the air and Dehumidify to reduce humidity. Choose from 3 cooling speeds (high, medium or low), 3 heating speeds (high, medium and low) and 3 fan speeds (high, medium or low). Quiet operation (only 50 dBA on low) helps you get a good night's sleep. The easy-to-use electronic control panel includes a 24-hour on/off timer and digital thermostat, plus the full-function remote control with on-board storage allows you to control your comfort from anywhere in the room. This unit is easily portable with multi-directional caster wheels so you can use it where you need it, when you need it.

The unit we purchased operates as expected. Not very good at heating though. I understand that we bout a refurbished unit but the condition was really poor. It had some deep scratches along the front and some broken plastic on the body of the unit. Should have spent the extra money and purchased it new (Posted on 12/12/2018)
