How to reset the timing?

Both Sryker and Conmed have added a timer to the lamp module. Replacing lamp used to cost $300. Now the charge $900 for entire moule. I need an alternative source to the timer. I have photos.

Switched the main board and the 'L' shaped board that sits in front of the lamp module. Everything but the ballast for the lamp basically. I do not have a manual and tech support is useless.. Does anyone know a way to verify if the power supply is functioning properly? I assume it wont apply energy to the lamp terminals unless it is in run mode.
